Hey all..... what's up?? Everything here is going well. I'm loving the college life. I've been here bout 3 weeks now and I love it. I'm being responsible with my school work, as well as my classes. I'm getting done what needs to get done. I'm making tons of new friends. It's so much fun starting over in a certian sense. No one knows your past unless you yourself deside to tell them. You are who you are, no one else. I really like it here. The campus is nice and small, so I know where pretty much everything is. Sometimes late at night I walk around campus with one of my friends and we just talk and enjoy the freedom. Other days I take my bike out and ride around campus. I've done the same with my skateboard as well. Teaching about 5 different people how to skateboard. It's pretty cool. All is well in my world.
Hey all... what's up? It's been a while since I've been on here to write anything. I am now in college. I moved into my dorm on tuesday, my roommate moved in on Wednesday. All is pretty good. Classes don't start till monday, so I've been kind of bored, there isn't much to really do. Just chillin here on the computer. It's so different here, I see where priorities and responsibility need to be the key things in my life right now. No one is here to tell me what to do or how to do it. It's a wonder how I get annoyed w/ the littlest mess of my own in my dorm room and clean it.. I've made my bed everyday, which isnt something I usually do, but I have ppl in the room all the time, so it's like, I want it to look presentable you know. My roomate has most of the space in the room anyway, I didnt' bring much. She's from Michigan, so she brought more stuff that I did. I can go home when winter hits and get more clothes and stuff like that, she can't. So yeah, all is well here.
College starts in two weeks... well not necessarily starting, but I move in my dorm room in two weeks...classes start in three. I'm eager to move out, as most teenagers my age are... I must admit it seems way more appealing than living here. I've spoken to my roomate on and off for the past 2 weeks.. it's been cool. We've been getting to know each other little by little. Can't wait to meet her. This is all so different for me. I love the idea of living "on my own" in a sense. Without parental supervision that is... my only hope is that I don't screw it up. I hope that I have a sense of responsibility that will carry me through it all. I guess I'll just have to find out for myself. See what God has in store for me.
I got fired today... or no wait "Layed Off" ... he said that I just wasn't getting enough appointments in, guess the organization didnt work. I was the most organized there, and had a stayed another month their files would have been more organized than they have been in 10 years. I think he had an issue with my age too, I was the youngest one working there, besides the "Main Man"'s son whatever. Off to find a new job.. after camp of course... which too was part of the reason. He said that I wasn't making enough appointments and this way I can go ahead and enjoy that week that I was going to take off anyway. The least he could have done was let me stay for this last week of July, then just not come back after camp. Whatever. Got my last check, w/ tomorrow's 8 hours of pay, even though I don't have to go in, so it's cool. God know's I can find another job where even though I may be payed less, I'll enjoy it more.You learn from new experiences.
